Issue 1
Join Ohio Women's Alliance as we bring together passionate environmental experts and advocates to talk about the current Issue 1 on the ballot and their lived experiences in the environmental justice sphere, hinging specifically on race and our identities.
We hope to raise awareness about Issue 1 and how it directly impacts our daily lives and is a step closer to environmental justice and all of its intersections. Our panel will feature Nicole Jackson of Black in National Parks Week, Ruby White of Columbus Recreations and Parks, and Savannah Ward of Hawk Shop, moderated by Celeste Treece of Commen Strategies.
Issue 1 is on the ballot this November and is an opportunity. Issue 1 will provide us with 100% Ohio-based renewable energy with strong public health, consumer, and environmental protections. Learn more about Issue 1 and how we can work together for an environmentally just world together Wednesday, October 28th at 5 on Facebook Live.

Environmental Impact section mentions air pollution but doesn't recognize as air quality being a negative issue in Columbus. Unfortunately, most local pollution tracker websites, like scorecard and EPA's AirNow have been deactivated. However! The Dispatch reports on this from time to time.
