This year’s Reproductive Justice Table Fellows gathered for their opening retreat in April 2024.

The Reproductive Justice Table is a space dedicated to helping young Ohio leaders aged 18-27 identify, innovate, and institute their own ideas while being supported by experienced leaders in Reproductive Justice (RJ).

The RJ Table is designed to support leadership growth by facilitating training on collective strategy, enhancing advocacy campaigns, and increasing capacity-building toward advancing Reproductive Justice for all people in Ohio. During this nine-month cohort, the young leaders will experience a Reproductive Justice retreat alongside Relational Uprising and attend monthly sessions that involve specialized skill development and wellness support through a Reproductive Justice lens. By the close of the year, our RJ Table fellows will generate, analyze, and launch a Reproductive Justice campaign.

Meet our 2024 RJ Table fellows below!

She is beyond excited to be a new member of Ohio Women's Alliance this year and can't wait to do amazing work with everyone.

Maisee (she/her)

Maisee, is a Licensed Social Worker, with a BSSW and MSW from The Ohio State University, with emphasis on Community and Social Justice. Her professional experience includes both clinical social work and three years of AmeriCorps service as a VISTA and VISTA Leader at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity. She is interested in reproductive justice, community organizing, and racial and economic equity. Raised in Norwalk, Ohio, she currently lives in Columbus with her rescue animals.

La’Ericka (she/her)

La'Ericka (who most people call “Ericka”) lives in Cleveland but she’s currently attending school in Columbus, OH, entering her second year at The Ohio State University. She’s a social work major and is passionate about working with the youth. Once she graduates and receives her Master's, she plans to become a Clinical Social Worker in the children's hospital. She is very excited to be a part of the 2024 Reproductive Justice Table cohort and can't wait to work with amazing women and advocate for justice in women's health.
