Tonight's Debate

Tonight, presidential candidates will take the stage once again to debate sharing their stances on issues impacting our communities. 

And they are doing it right here in Ohio. 

The Ohio Women's Alliance proudly co-signed an Open Letter to presidential candidates and consultants, debate moderators, political commentators, and media, addressing the lack of attention and discussion around issues impacting women and femmes. 

We must change the glaring absence of attention by candidates during the debates on core women's issues, such as childcare, paid family leave, intimate partner violence, pregnancy discrimination, and reproductive health care. As we watch the debate and listen to the chatter of pundits and Twitter users, we will continue to hold candidates and elected officials accountable for improving the lives of women and femmes. Click on the image below to read the full letter.
